How to start consigning
Appointments are required for drop-offs. We allow one drop off per person per day. Please contact us at lauramiller@kidsclothingandmore.com or at 850-520-6721.
If you are not local you may ship your consignment product in as well.
First Step: Prep Your Items

CLOTHES:
Freshly washed, laid completely flat, buttons/zippers/snaps done up, sets laid together, 60 pieces counted out (sets count as 1 piece), and placed in something hard ie. box, laundry basket, plastic bin (no bags, please)
Sizes Accepted: Children’s preemie - 16 youth & all size maternity & nursing

SHOES:
Cleaned, laces tied, set in pairs
Sizes Accepted: Newborn - 5 youth
Baby Equipment/Toys/Books/Miscellaneous Items:
All fabric freshly washed, hard surfaces wiped clean, batteries working, all parts and pieces collected. Be sure to check the crevices of toys especially Jumperoos and Exersaucers. All toys that are attached to Juperoos, Exersaucers and the like will need to be removed and cleaned under.
Second Step: Drop Off Procedure

Anyone can drop off for you!
We will inspect each item carefully for stains, wear and tear, batteries, pieces, etc. The items we say yes to, we price, and sell them for you. The items we say no-thank-you to during the presort process will be given back to you. If any stains or issues are discovered during processing they are placed in a bag and we will call you to pick them up!
New Consignors are required to read and initial each line of the Policies and Procedures.
Third Step: Getting paid

We keep track of all your sales. As soon as your items sell, the money goes into your account.
To check on your balance, call, message me on Facebook, or send a text.
We know life happens, we’re all moms. Your account balance is good for a year. After a year of inactivity, meaning no credit has been used, no payout given, no items purchased, or no items consigned, your earnings will be the property of KIND.
We pay out via venmo, paypal, or check (can be sent in the mail for $2).
Policies
KIND reserves the right to make changes to our policies and procedures as we see fit and
without notice.
All new consignors are required to sign acknowledging they have read and understand
all policies.
KIND accepts, prices, and sells your items. Consignors receive a percentage of the final sale
price which immediately credits that account.
â—‹ Consignors receive 30% for all consigned clothes
â—‹ Consignors receive 30% for all other consigned items
We will do our best to safeguard your items but we are not responsible for damage or loss.
After 1 year of inactivity, any unsold inventory or remaining balance will become property of KIND
Ones. ‘Activity’ includes selling an item, taking a check, or using account credit.
We conduct sales periodically and your items will be marked down accordingly.
Return or Donate: If your clothes, shoes, or small items priced under $15 do not sell after 9 months do you
want them back or can we donate them to a local non-profit organization?
â—‹ Consignors will be notified if any item priced over $15 didn’t sell and needs to be picked up regardless
of whether you choose Return or Donate.
Consigned items remain your property, never ours. We are contracted to sell them for you.
Consignors are responsible for updating account contact information.
KIND reserves the right to change policies (including percentage splits) at any time. The
change would affect items consigned in the future upon a new signature/agreement to the new policies.
Procedures
All clothing needs to be buttoned, zipped, laid flat and freshly laundered. KIND reserves the
right to not accept items that have not been properly prepared.
Shoes, toys, equipment and miscellaneous items must be brought in clean, with accessories and functioning batteries.
KIND reserves the right to stop accepting items throughout the day when we have hit our
maximum drop off amount.
Consignors who do not stay for the recommended presort and choose the donation option for their declined items need to be aware that all or most of their items may be donated if they have stains/holes/general wear.
Consignors must return to the store within 48 hrs to pick up any declined items.
If declined items are not picked up, KIND has the right to donate the items.
As a courtesy, we will send a text message to the cell phone number provided to inform consignors on the status of their drop off. The pick up policy stands firm regardless of whether they receive a text message or not. If consignor A is dropping off for consignor B, consignor A signs as the responsible party for consignor B’s declined items and all procedures apply to consignor A (the party dropping off items on consignment)
